RVChaireRSOC "Design et Internet des Objets : Comment concevoir une expérience connectée ?"Thank you again for coming to the 2nd “Rendez-vous” of the SOSN Chair (#RVChaireRSOC) on the theme of Designing the Internet of Things!

A big thank-you to our speakers Francois Duris, Antony Masson and Remy Bourganel who shared with us their expertise as designers. In a world where the Internet of Things create new forms of interaction of people with their environment and technology, the team SOSN Chair invite you Tuesday, June 14, 2016 to discuss about design issues of connected products and imagine how will be our relationship with technology in a new digital society.

  • RVChaireRSOC "Design et Internet des Objets", Intervention de François Duris de HuaweiThus, François Duris have explained to us his approach to shape Huawei image and its products balancing at the same time : complexity, comfort and ease of use. This is especially made possible by the creation of “brain codes” easily identifiable by customers at any time “Using FrenchTech and FrenchTouch is the future of this industrial revolution.
  • RVChaireRSOC "Design et Internet des Objets", Intervention d'Antony Masson du Groupe SEBWithin SEB Group, new products are developed with an anthropologist approach. During these discussions, Antony Masson has presented to us in a very concrete way his user-centered design methods and his ways to create value thanks to connectivity. “User feedbacks highlight a little the connected aspect, more importantly the simplicity. It is the same for IoT : it’s not an end but a means for SEB to explore new uses.
  • RVChaireRSOC "Design et Internet des Objets", Intervention de Rémy Bourganel de QwantThrough Rémy Bourganel ‘s presentation “Designing the informational Internet of Things“, we discussed particularly about the illusion of objectivity – objectivity we seek always and everywhere, through the tracking of our physical activities for example – and some principles of design such as the theories of shape and the affordance that is to say “the metaphors that allow the user, by analogy, to succeed in doing something new.

See you soon for the next #RVChaireRSOC !
